: YSR Congress chief Jagan Mohan Reddy appeared before a special CBI
court in connection with a disproportionate case today 's assets.
The court had on September 28 was aware of the indictment filed against Raghuram ( Bharathi ) Cement by the CBI in the case against Mr. Reddy and others. He then issued summons against eight accused in the case, including the YSR Congress chief, his financial advisor V Vijay Sai Reddy, Director Raghuram Cements J Jaganmohan Reddy and former director of mines VD Rajagopal , among others, with a direction that ' they should appear in court on November 7.
Accordingly, Mr. Reddy and other accused appeared before the court and provided personal bond of Rs. 25,000 each and two sureties of the same amount , they submitted through their advice.
The court then posted the matter to December 3 .
The indictment was filed eight charges against Mr. Reddy and others on September 10 on the issue of granting leases limestone mining on an area of 2037.52 hectares in the district of Kadapa Raghuram Cements Ltd. "flagrant violation of rules and procedures."
The court will hear the plea of Mr. Reddy , seeking a further easing of the conditions of his bail to allow him to visit other states and also without having to inform the CBI on his tour itinerary , November 12
